Jason and his friends are learning patience. I agree with Jason, the best part of the wedding reception is the cake.
Jason stood drooling at the cake table. He
was determined to stay out of trouble at the reception, but his mouth watered
at the sight of the wedding cake. He shoved his hands in his pockets, shaking
his head, he forced himself to turn away.
“Jason, I’m proud of you. You didn’t touch
the cake,” Sonja smirked. Jason pulled out a chair at the table now occupied by
the angels.
“The cake smells really good,” he muttered,
sitting down abruptly.
“We were taking bets if you would
stick your finger in the icing or not,” Kati added, her eyes sparkling with
mischief. She had missed her Sanders Ranch friends.
“It was tempting,” Jason said, his usual
grin on his face. He took a sip of tea looking around the table. Eric and Jonathan
sat across from him with Lauren between them. Somehow, he had been seated next
to Sonja with Kati on his other side. They were surrounded by the girls.
